TRENTON — Taxpayers who want to know how much their home towns spend on public schooling can find that information in a guide released today by the state Department of Education.

The data used to create the 2012 Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending was first reported by The Star-Ledger in June, when the state released statistics on spending, test scores, enrollment and more for every school in the state.
